This is a Free Event for individuals with special needs and their families. Families must register at www.especiallyneeded.org to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. Feeding Tube Awareness Week
Feeding Tube Awareness Week - Did you know that there are over 300 conditions a child could have that would necessitate a feeding tube in order for the child to receive proper nutrition? Feeding tubes allow a child to grow, develop, and become stronger while often times receiving therapy that will allow them to one day eat by mouth.
Charlotte’s Day
Feeding therapy is such a paramount part of many of our patients' journeys. There are many tools and tips that our speech therapists provide families to aid with feeding. Today we want to introduce Charlotte's Day, an organization that provides specialized high chairs to assist with feeding time and therapy.

June is National Safety Month
Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of emergency department visits in the United States. Over 9 million children are seen each year in the ED for unintentional injuries. Many of these injuries could be prevented if proper safety rules were known and followed. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s website is a great resource for information on child injury prevention topics.
