Recently, a group of us in the Pediatric Special Needs community had a chance to visit with a great organization named JourneyFEST (www.journeyFEST.org) . They are a community for Special Needs Families that exisits to love and encourage one another as they journey through life with special needs.
The group meets daily through their Facebook page and interacts to support, encourage, share tips for success and learn ways to deal with the highs and lows that life brings. There is a public Facebook profile (www.facebook.com/JourneyFESTorg) , but the group goes deeper into personal stories and situations within their private Facebook group which can be found here: www.facebook.com/groups/JourneyFESTfamilies. Our Viva families are welcome and encouraged to join these groups and become part of this unique and helpful community. It is our hope that this organization will add value to your life.
The organization has seasonal events and outings for families, kids, mom-only groups and dad-only groups that are designed around having FUN and HELPING one another.
