We put our heart in everything we do.
No Foolin'! April is Here!
Hello April
April is often associated with new beginnings. Flowers bloom, days grow longer, and routines shift. For our patients, this can be a wonderful time to embrace new goals: whether that's building strength, improving communication, or simply enjoying some time out doors. For families, it's an opportunity to celebrate how far your child has come and look ahead with hope and confidence.
It's also a great month to focus on wellness. Seasonal changes can bring challenges like allergies or schedule adjustments, but with the support of skilled nursing, therapy, or PPECC services children can continue to thrive, no matter the setting. We are here to help your family navigate these transitions by offering guidance, encouragement, and compassionate care, every step of the way.
Coming Soon!
We’re excited to share some big news! We are opening two new PPECC facilities this year! Our newest locations will be opening in Hurst and The Colony, allowing us to serve even more kiddos and support more families in our community.
PPECCs (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Centers) provide skilled nursing care in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive setting during the day. These new centers reflect our continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality pediatric care while giving families more options closer to home.
We can’t wait to welcome new families, build strong care teams, and create spaces where children can receive the medical care they need while still getting to be kids.

Spotlight on PPECC
Our PPECCS Are Feeling Very Lucky this saint patty's day
Our PPECC teams brought a little extra luck and a lot of joy this March with a fun-filled St. Patrick’s Day celebration! The event featured sensory-friendly arts and crafts, giving our children a chance to explore creativity in a comfortable and engaging way. From festive decorations to hands-on activities, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments for both kids and staff. It was a wonderful reminder of how thoughtful, inclusive activities can make celebrations special for everyone involved.
Happy Occupational Therapy Month!
What Does an OT Do?
The month of April is a time where we in the healthcare world celebrate Occupational Therapists. You may be wondering, "What is an OT and how could they help my child?". We're here to help! Occupational Therapists work closely with children and their families to assist in building skills they use in everyday life. This can include improving fine motor skills to help a child feed independently, strengthening coordination and balance, offering support in sensory processing, and developing skills for self care routines.
How Does Occupational Therapy Work?
Occupational Therapy uses a play based approach that is individualized to fit each child's needs. Sessions are designed to feel engaging and fun while targeting each child's unique goals. Occupational Therapists meet kids where they are at and help them move forward with confidence.
Occupational Therapy Month
This Occupational Therapy Month, we celebrate the small victories that lead to big milestones. First bites, first scribbles, first moments of independence. Occupational therapy helps children not just participate in life, but enjoy it.
