Hello May!

Growth, Gratitude, and Fresh Energy

May is the bridge between Spring and Summer. A time between intense rain showers and the awakening of Summer's blooms. Sometimes, May can feel like a transitional point for us too. Stuck between the goals we set at the beginning of the year and where we are now in our pursuit towards achieving them. Show yourself patience and trust in the process you've worked so hard to build.

Allergy Alert!

While the blooms of the season are beautiful, they also bring a rise of pollen in the air. For many of us, that means sneezing and itchy eyes. If allergies flare up, be sure to limit out door exposure and be diligent about washing up after time spent outdoors.

Coming Soon!

We’re excited to share some big news! We are opening two new PPECC facilities this year! Our newest locations will be opening in Hurst and The Colony, allowing us to serve even more kiddos and support more families in our community.

PPECCs (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Centers) provide skilled nursing care in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive setting during the day. These new centers reflect our continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality pediatric care while giving families more options closer to home.

We can’t wait to welcome new families, build strong care teams, and create spaces where children can receive the medical care they need while still getting to be kids.

#ThePowerofNurses - Nurses Week 2026

Compassion at the Heart of Care

As we celebrate Nurses Week 2026, we take a moment to recognize and honor the extraordinary individuals who make up the backbone of healthcare- our nurses. From the PPECCs to our patients homes, nurses bring skill, empathy, and unwavering dedication to providing compassionate care. At VIVA, a proud provider of PPECC and home health services, we are especially grateful for the specialized care our nurses delivery to medically complex children, day in and day out.

The Power of Nursing in Pediatric Care

Caring for children with complex medical needs requires more than clinical expertise. It demands patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of each child's everchanging world. Whether in our PPECC, or at home, our nurses provide stability, reassurance, and hope.

A Heartfelt 'Thank you"

During this Nurses Week, we extend our deepest gratitude to every nurse on our team. Their compassion changes lives . Their dedication strengthens families. Their work makes a lasting impact that goes far beyond what words can capture.
